Benefiting from advanced GaAs pHEMT and GaN HEMT technologies, the QPA3390 offers 23dB of gain at 1794MHz with excellent linearity. Ideal for high-performance broadband networks, the QPA3390 offers excellent return loss performance, low noise, and the ability to adjust the DC current for an optimal balance between RF output and DC power consumption. the QPA3390 is available in a compact 9mm x 8mm multi-chip modular (MCM) package that incorporates Qorvo's advanced GaN technology to ensure optimal reliability and low noise. As the first 24V solution on the market, this innovative amplifier delivers 73dBmV of total composite power at 11.5W, making it an excellent choice for low-power applications.
The QPA3390 sets a new benchmark in DOCSIS 4.0 amplifier technology to meet the high demands of the broadband industry,’ said Bob Simmers, senior marketing manager, Infrastructure Business Unit, Qorvo. With its superior performance metrics and compact design, the QPA3390 further strengthens Qorvo's leadership position in the CATV amplifier market.’
The QPA3390 features adjustable DC current to optimise power consumption based on output level to reduce operating costs, and its advanced temperature sensing ensures reliable operation in a wide range of conditions. Used in conjunction with Qorvo's QPP0023 transformer, as well as the QPP0022 and QPP0024 transducers, the QPA3390 is designed to be a complete and optimised solution for today's broadband networks.
Qorvo's QPA3390 is now in production. Cable equipment providers can achieve the most cost-effective and reliable performance with Qorvo's DOCSIS solution.
